Cheltenham Town Hall

Disabled Ladies Loo within the Town Hall boasts a support bar by the side of the loo held (poorly) by 1 screw out of 4. originlally installed with screws and rawlpugs insufficiently short for the job. Electric hand Dryer u/s. Basin too small and so badly positioned over prominent boxing for pipework that a wheelchair user must approach if side on and wash one hand at a time.These faults noted on our first visit on 11th October and our last on the 19th. I suggest the Borough Council is at risk of sustaining a potentially substantial claim for damages unless it attends to the support bar repair without delay. I submit that the best way that Design and Maintenance staff of the Borough Council would get a clearer understanding of what disabled people face, would be for them to have access to a manual wheelchair to see for themselves.
