Overview

A lovely cathedral which sometimes hosts exhibitions and puts on shows like the Mystery Plays. Lots to see for a nice relaxed visit. One can pay for a guided tour, though we didn't. It is free entry but a donation is welcome. The floors are easy to move around on. Marvellous stained glass windows, and some outstanding misericords. Well worth a visit when in Chester, and it's very peaceful.

Transport & Parking

There is no parking nearby, but it's not far from the multi storey car park at the Grosvenor Arcade

Access

4.5

There are ramps, some a little steep, but do-able. There is an accessible toilet on the way in, fairly close to the entrance. There is an accessible route into the refectory too. Once in, it was easy to get around, plenty of space and plenty of seating.

Toilets

Nice, clean accessible toilet.
