Overview
The accessibility team were helpful in booking the tickets and answering by queries before our visit. The website also has a clear accessibility statement. Once inside, we found the venue very accessible and easy to navigate. The staff seemed to have been trained well and were understanding of access needs. The only issues were the queues for the bar and merchandise areas. A specific area of each with a lower counter would be helpful.
Transport & Parking
We travelled by taxi. Although the accessibility information said there was a drop off point by entrance B, this was not for taxis. Luckily, our taxi driver was willing to get us as near as possible and then do a u-turn. Getting a taxi after the gig was also difficult as the taxi rank nearest entrance B is not the designated pick up point.
Access
Dedicated accessible entrance. Lift to all floors operated by a member of staff. Unfortunately, people with no access needs can also use the lifts with no consideration for others. Several different accessible seating areas. Chairs available for carer/companion and for those who don’t use a wheelchair or wish to transfer. We had a great view from section 107.
Toilets
Easy to find. Radar key needed. Large area with plenty of space for a carer. Grab rails and emergency cord.
Staff
All the staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
