Overall Rating
Excellent
Lovely open spaced park, perfect for a dog walk/wheel.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
The park was mostly all level access, apart from you could go down a little hill to get to the pond. Some of the pathways were tarmacked and other bits were a little bit gravelled, but manageable to drive on. The pathways are also quite wide too. There was a lot of grassy opened spaces, but none of the park is enclosed so if your dog will run away, it’s best to keep them on their lead. Also, the pond is all open, so you don’t want a soggy dog. It was nice seeing all the ducks in the pond though.
Accessible facilities: Single-level venue, Step-free entrance
Parking & Transport
Average
I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
I found the ground surface of the car park very bumpy as it was more stones than tarmac. There were no designated disabled parking spaces. I am not from this area so I cannot comment on the public transport nearby.
Accessible facilities: Dedicated on-site parking
Accessible Toilets
I don’t think there are any public toilets here, but if there is I didn’t see any so I cannot comment on toilets. The closest Changing Places toilet is at the Montrose Playhouse which is a 3 minute drive away.
Staff
I don’t think there are any staff on site here, but if there is I didn’t see anyone so I cannot comment on staff.
