Good
Dim Sum Duck offers incredibly authentic Hong Kong-style cuisine. The food is delicious and full of traditional flavours. However, the restaurant has limited seating, so be prepared to wait in line during peak hours. It’s conveniently located near King’s Cross Station, which makes it easy to find. Although the space is small, it does have a disabled toilet, which is a thoughtful feature.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
The pavement outside the restaurant is on a low curb, and there is a wheelchair ramp about 50 metres away from the entrance. Outdoor seating is step-free. The entrance has a manual single door with a small step, and the space between tables inside is quite narrow.
Parking & Transport
0It’s about a 10-minute walk from King’s Cross Station, making it easy to reach by public transport. However, there doesn’t seem to be any on-street parking nearby, which might be inconvenient for those driving.
Accessible Toilets
Good
The toilet is located at the very back of the restaurant, with some miscellaneous items stored nearby. Overall, it is fairly clean. Three grab rails are installed, but the space might be a bit tight for wheelchair transfers. The door has a rotating latch, and the handwashing area is separated from the toilet by a door.
Staff
Excellent
The staff are busy and often moving around in the corridor, so getting their attention is easy if you need help. They are friendly and happy to introduce the menu. However, during peak hours, you may be reminded to finish your meal if you stay too long, so it’s not the best place for a long, relaxed chat.
