Overview

Disability Snowsports offer skiing lessons to disabled people on the Cairngorn mountain using very experienced and specialist trained instructors that seem to make the seeming impossible very do-able.

Transport & Parking

Large car park with parking right outside Disability Snowsports office. We used a taxi from our hotel in Aviemore where we stayed following our 9 hour train journey to Aviemore - worth it as train journey alone was an adventure with wonderful scenery through Scotland.

Access

Ramped access to Disability Snowsports Office and flat access onto the train up the mountain and lift at the cafe at the top to access the mountain.

Toilets

To be honest as it was sometime ago I cannot remember specifically but do know I used one without any problems.

Staff

I have always found all of Disability Snowsports excellent.

Being tipped out of your wheelchair into a sit-ski to ski down a mountain is the most amazing thing I do. My husband is severely visually impaired and he is equally enthusiastic about it.
