Overview

It is ridiculously difficult to find accommodation that is actually accessible for someone with complex physical access needs. We are 4 friends, one of whom is a full-time wheelchair user, and the quad room was perfect for us. Everything had been thought of in the room - even to the bathroom door opening both ways which is so helpful when moving in a wheelchair. Debbie was incredibly helpful and friendly. The extra touches in the room were much appreciated (tea/coffee/cake) and the breakfast was delicious. The best omelette I've ever had. Double Gate Farm gave us the perfect base for some precious time together as a group. We very much hope to be back soon.

Transport & Parking

Access

Fully wheelchair accessible room. Plenty of space for us to use our mobile hoist (we brought our own). Breakfast room easy to access and our table was set with a space for the person using the wheelchair.

Toilets

The bathroom in our bedroom was large, easy to move around in and bathroom door opened both ways.
