Overview

As a regular visitor I was over the moon to hear that the toilets were being refurbished during the recent summer closure. There is now a changing places toilet on the upper level and a refurbished loo on the lower level beside the restaurant. The restaurant toilet is slightly awkward getting into it but as with the rest of the facilities it's spotless. There's a lift giving good access to the upper level where the auditorium is located and another bar. Wheelchair spaces in the auditorium give a good view of the stage and there is plenty room for a pa/carer alongside the 4 wheelchair seats. Staff are extremely helpful and make you feel welcome and cared for. You can use the restaurant between 11am and 4pm Tuesday to Saturday and for dinner on Fridays,Saturdays and performance evenings. The food is excellent and there's plenty of space for wheelchairs.

Transport & Parking

Access

5

Arriving at the theatre entry is by a door operated by a disabled push pad, The restaurant is through large glass doors which swing open both ways, The foyer is accessed by a ramp and the desk is at a suitable height for someone in a wheelchair. A lift takes you up one floor to the bar ahd the auditorium.

Toilets

5

Toilets are well signposted and easy to find. There's a Changing Places toilet on the upper floor.

Staff

5

The staff are very helpful and on busy evenings will even help with access to the loos as they can get busy at the interval and there is the perennial problem of AB people trying to use the disabled loo.
