Disabled Travellers Easter Parade in the Cotswolds (part four)

Just as short drive away from Chipping Campden you arrive at the charming little village of Ebrington, with fine Cotswold cottages and a number of delightful thatch homes of yesteryear. Ebrington is just two miles from Chipping, and is mentioned in the Doomsday book of 1086 which had just 33 homes at that time. The main Manor has been here since the 14th century, owned by the Fortesque family. The Ebrington Arms pub dates from 1640, a charming little pub, and with five bedrooms offering views over the countryside, and holding two AA Rosettes, in a lovely looking Cotswold stone restaurant, which certainly offers charm, then the old pub will be well worth visiting. There is a school her, recently in 2016 celebrating their 175th birthday, and with the ancient church of St Eadburga, it is a nice village to go and see. St Eadburga is said to be the great-granddaughter of the Saxon King, Alfred. The church also holds many memorials of the Fortesque family.
