Cones in the disabled only parking bay. I couldn’t get access to see any of the exhibition today ‘The Big Spell’ all the doors were locked no access to lift to the upstairs. The staff who I spoke to was off the planet and didn’t have a clue as to what was going on. I left extremely disappointed and made a complete and utter fool out of me the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshops- a no go for anyone who is disabled in the present or near future till this is addressed ASAP.

Re the BIG SPELL event - this wasn't open when you visited as it's still being installed. BIG SPELL is a one-day event which will run this coming Sunday, 23 August 2026, from 12-8pm. There is level access through most of the building and a lift to each floor. The event will happen partially outside and partially inside. Thanks also for flagging up about the cones. We’re also looking into your comments re assistance on the day. Team members should always we able to provide good info, even in this sort of situation where the event wasn't on.
