    About

Located in the community of Newhaven, Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop is a place where artists make and develop work. We have specialist shared Workshops and workspaces, technical support from an experienced Technical Team, 26 artist studios, with two dedicated to artist residencies, and a total of 15 Project Spaces to enable research, presentation and learning, as well as an established learning programme for schools, groups and courses for adults. Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop offers new exhibitions each year as part of the Edinburgh Art Festival, a year-round exhibition programme in the Hawthornvale Space (gallery viewed from the street), and other bespoke events throughout the year. Our regular Soup Lunches offer a chance for the community of artists to meet and network and are open to all.

No access to sculpture for those who are disabled.

Cones in the disabled only parking bay. I couldn’t get access to see any of the exhibition today ‘The Big Spell’ all the doors were locked no access to lift to the upstairs. The staff who I spoke to was off the planet and didn’t have a clue as to what was going on. I left extremely disappointed and made a complete and utter fool out of me the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshops- a no go for anyone who is disabled in the present or near future till this is addressed ASAP.
