Essex Outdoors' centre at Bradwell is a coastal outdoor education centre, based on the River Blackwater Estuary, a lovely stretch of sheltered tidal water on the east coast of Essex. Delivering high-quality residential and day-based outdoor education programmes, Bradwell is recognised as a leading provider of sailing and yachting activities alongside climbing and archery. Bradwell also offers a purpose-built residential unit with accommodation for up to 60 young people in comfortable bunk rooms, with separate rooms for staff, plus a lounge, dining room and games room. A small self-contained residential cottage is also available for groups looking for a little more independence. Essex Outdoors delivers a full range of activities to excite and inspire and can accommodate and cater for every need.

Disabled Access at Essex Outdoors Bradwell

Access to the centre for wheelchair users is via lift to first floor rooms ~ accessible bedroom, shower/toilet room, dining area and lounge. The disabled suite consists of single bed and disabled shower/toilet room. A separate room for up to two carers has a connecting door. The accessible toilet and shower are located on the first floor of the building via an external lift.
