    Fairford Library

    About

Fairford Library is a small friendly library with a separate Children’s library with a PC specifically for children's use. We also have a small, peaceful courtyard garden for outdoor summer reading! We have free Wi-Fi and four public computers that can be booked for free when you have a library card (non-library members can log-in as guests but will need ID and pay £1 per hour for up to two hours). Library members can download eBooks, audiobooks and online magazines for free on their own devices as well as having access to a wide variety of research sites such as Newsbank, Times Digital Archive, Naxos Music Library, Theory Test Pro and 19th century Newspapers. Customers can also access Ancestry, Find My Past, and have access to Research and The British Newspaper Archive from the Library PCs. We run Toddler Time story time (term time only) for 3-4 year olds on Mondays 10.30-11.00 a.m. and Baby Bounce and Rhyme on Wednesdays 10.30-11.00 a.m. all year round. In the holidays we also run regular craft events. These events are free of charge and we would love you to come along. We also have a friendly and knowledgeable Computer Buddy who works Mondays and Wednesdays 10-12, and our Growth Hub has lots of helpful information for anyone wanting to start or grow their own business. We look forward to seeing you!
