There are many resturants at Fortnum and Masons and today I visited The Parlour which is wheelchair accessible and I experienced friendly and attentive service. The food is expensive but the ambience is great and they serve amazing knickerbocker glories. My previous visit to the Gallery Restauant had been a disaster and I subsequently complained by email and hence today lunch was free !
Disabled Access In and Around

There is level entry from the front of the shop. The shop is very old and the lifts are exeptionally small but I managed in my manual wheelchair with space for one extra person. Not all the restaurant are accessible but the Parlour and the Diamond tea Room are accessible. Avoid the Gallery restaurant which requires access via staff lift - although the staff were very friendly it is a little awkward as you need to be escorted by someone. Staff in the Gallery Restaurant are NOT friendly
Parking & Transport
Average
Nearest tube station is Piccadilly Circus but this is not wheelchair accessible. There are plenty of buses on Piccadilly. Nearest carpark is in Leicester Square. We parked for free in the Royal Academy opposite as we were visiting an exhibition - there are 2 BlueBadge parking spaces which you can book in advance.

Staff
Good
Today the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful in both the restaurant and the shop. My previous experience at the Gallery Restaurant was dreadful - the waiter was rude and unpleasant and made me feel very uncomfortable.
Additional Information
Fortnum and Masons is an iconic Department store selling luxurious gifts and food. Well worth a browse and even the odd purchase e.g. A F and M cool bag in F and M colours for only £20 and you end up with a fancy carrier bag too !
