Good
Lovely castle and staff - some accessibility issues to be expected.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Access into the Castle is via a walkway that was easy enough. The use of pebble paths inside however made mobility a little more difficult. There is a lift to the first floor exhibition however the more accessible wooden stairs are no longer being used to allow people to the battlements. The thin original steps are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
Parking & Transport
Good
Only two spaces available but after hanging around we managed to get a suitable spot.
Accessible Toilets
Good
Accessible toilets are at the ticket desk outside the castle meaning a walk if you need them when in the castle.
