Overview
This is a warning to anyone going to the Retail Centre by car and it is especially important that people with disabilities should know. The retail centre is great but the company that manages the car park, Euro Car Parks, is not. I was at the Centre on Saturday 3 May. I took the prescribed ticket and displayed it (without paying: the first two hours are supposedly free). I shopped and went home and did not even notice that there was a Parking Charge Notice until I took the car again several days later. In the meantime I had thrown away the pay and display ticket. I have seen from other reviews that Euro Car Parks have an unfortunate habit of issuing parking tickets. I would urge anybody who goes there to keep their proof of having pressed the button, even if they only stay for two hours. Parking is definitely not free there (the charge is £100, reduced to £60 if you pay quickly).
