Overview
Today known as the Garden of the People, they were originally the palace gardens, adjacent to the Museum of Asian Art. With lawn, flowers and trees. There is also some busts and statues. There are also some beautiful views of Mandraki Harbour and the Old Fortress. Don't forget to look out for the spiral staircase which was used by the Greek Royal Family as a shortcut to the baths.
Transport & Parking
Corfu Town is a short 5 – 10 minutes’ drive by taxi from Corfu Airport. There are buses that serve the town centre and taxis are plentiful and quite reasonably priced.
Access
There is a step free entrance to the small gardens. There are pathways through the garden but be careful as some tree and bush branches are over hanging in places. There are plenty of benches.
Toilets
I didn't see any toilets.
Staff
I didn't see any staff, however the gardens are beautifully maintained.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
