The Garen Studio, Altonsyde, offers self contained ground floor studio accommodation comprising of double bed, smart TV, Wifi, kitchen area with hob, dishwasher, mini fridge freezer, microwave, en-suite toilet & shower, a private garden and parking. With everything on the ground floor, our self-catering studio apartments are perfect for those with limited mobility. The Garden Studio is more suitable with those who use walking sticks rather than wheel chairs. Those with limited mobility rather than wheelchair bound.

Disabled Access at Garden Studio Altonsyde

The Garden Studio, Altonsyde is accommodation located on the ground floor. There is an open plan kitchennette and bedroom/living space, an ensuite toilet and outdoor private garden area (accessed via the carpark or two steps down from the studio's patio doors). We have a shower seat and suction stability rail in the shower (approx 8cm step into the shower). There is also a raised toilet seat and tri-walker available to borrow, please ask. We also have a stability rail and bannister to assist you in getting down to or up from the garden/patio area into the Garden Studio itself. The doors are not wheelchair accessible at approximately 75cm wide. The floor in the kitchen/ living area is wooden, the toilet has a linoleum floor. There are small lips at the main studios entrance door (approximately 2cm), the Garden Studio entrance lip (approx 1cm), the toilet door entrance lip (approx 1cm), the shower tray (approximately 8cm). Their is a Smart TV on the wall, Wifi booster in the room, USB socket at the bedside, LED lighting and bedside LED lamps.
