Excellent
Got a great service from the special assistance team at Gatwick Airport. Fantastic no issues at all. The accessibility round the airport was good too.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
I used my wheelchair to get around & used Special Assistance. Those with limited mobility may find walking around difficult there are seats available to sit down to rest. Best to request Special Assistance in advance.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
We drove to the Airport & used Valet Parking. Our car was waiting for us on our return.(Charges Apply) There is also disabled parking available (Charges Apply)
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
I saw a few accessible toilets which were very clean & tidy. I am a wheelchair user and found it easy to move around inside the toilet. Very accessible I also noticed there were Changing Places Toilet.
Staff
Excellent
The staff at the Special Assistance Department were most helpful and was welcomed in a very friendly & professional manner. The team so lovely and when it was time for boarding the plane they assisted me to transfer over onto the airline wheelchair Had no issues at all. Really pleased with the service 😊😊😊
Additional Information
I saw plenty of hand sanitiser stations around. I used my mask in crowded areas
