Overview

There are two hiking trails (red and green). Only part of the green trail is accessible for wheelchairs but the views are totally worth it. I would advise booking tickets online, if you’re driving there, because you get guaranteed parking, access to the visitor center and the option of a guided tour. You can get carer tickets online, they didn’t require any evidence either. We did get told off by staff twice. Firstly because I was driving on the road instead of the path and there were vehicles driving slowly up and down the road every 45 minutes or so. Secondly, because my carer was flying a drone, bear in mind that there were no signs anywhere saying that you couldn’t, she obviously put it away once she was told by a staff member.

Transport & Parking

There is disabled parking, without height restrictions, in front of the causeway hotel. You will be guided by staff on arrival to the disabled parking but annoyingly it’s further away from the entrance to the giants causeway than the main car park.

Access

Only part of the green trail is wheelchair accessible. Most of the path is tarmacced with an optional bumpy path towards the end and at the end of the trail. The visitor centre is fully accessible though with a cafe, a gift shop and a few bits of information about the place.

Toilets

Supposedly has a changing places toilet but I didn’t see it signposted.
