Venue Description
The gleaming titanium crescent overlooking the Clyde has three floors packed with hundreds of interactive exhibits that will fascinate you. The Science Mall also plays host to our interactive workshops where you can make wind powered cars, or try your hand as an electronic engineer with our super user-friendly littleBits kits. You can also visit the Science Show Theatre, Newton Rooms flight academy and the state-of-the-art Planetarium! Our science communicators are there to help you to explore and make your experience memorable.Accessibility
The main entrances and exit to Glasgow Science Centre are wheel chair accessible. All lifts within the Science Mall can accommodate 1 wheelchair (up to Class 2) and 1 carer. IMAX - located in the foyer and giving access to the rear of the auditorium (door opening 100 cm, depth 130 cm); Science Mall – very large, multi-person lift near the ticket desk and a smaller lift (door opening 80 cm, depth 150 cm) between the escalators and entrance to Tower.
Accessible Performances
Planetarium shows can be delivered for BSL users and we have tactile domes for visitors with visual impairments; Live science shows can also be delivered in BSL - these shows are delivered on request from large groups, although we do try to accommodate where possible.

Toilets
TOILETS AND BABY CHANGING AREAS We are improving accessibility for all our visitors and enhancing the overall experience at Glasgow Science Centre. Fully accessible toilets and baby changing areas are available within all areas: Science Mall - Ground Floor, Floor 2 and Floor 3. IMAX - Ground Floor. Baby changing facilities are also available in the Children's Reception Area / Cloakroom on the Ground Floor. A Changing Places toilet - Ground Floor. A Family Room - Ground Floor.
Staff
We have 2 members of staff with Basic BSL skills and the majority of our staff have had Deaf Awareness training from the NDCS. All our staff are trained to a high standard and aim to assist you to the best of their ability.

We welcome assistance dogs to Glasgow Science Centre. The area surrounding the Science Centre is also suitable for exercising your dog.
Other assistance dog facilities
We are happy to provide fresh drinking water and 'poo' bags on request.
