Glasgow Tigers Speedway is the West of Scotland’s only professional speedway team and compete in British Speedway’s Premier League. The Tigers race at the recently redeveloped Peugeot Ashfield Stadium, a superb venue for live motorsport in the north of Glasgow. Our season runs from March until October with home matches usually taking place on Sunday afternoons. Speedway bikes have no brakes and 500cc engines, accelerating to 60 mph faster than a Formula 1 car! The high speed thrills and entertainment make for a brilliant day out with friends and family. Owners Gerry and Michael Facenna bought the Tigers in 2015 and are committed to building a club that will become an important part of the local community. As as well as hosting high speed motorsports, the venue is home to the Tigers Den Diner. Open 7 days a week and available for function hire, menu available online.
