Overview
This is a Hungry Horse franchise in a lovely big converted barn with plenty of space around the tables and a large car park. The only thing that lets it down is the disabled toilets are long overdue for a refurb. Double entrance doors but not too heavy to pull.
Transport & Parking
We drove there but it is on a main road so presumably on a major bus route.
Access
Plenty of space to get around the bar and at the tables. The barn is attractive. It was cold when we visited but friends said it has plenty of seating outside and a small play area.
Toilets
There is a disabled toilet by the entrance opened with a radar key. This is a snug little toilet and we just managed to squeeze in with a power chair and carer though it required some contortions. The red cord was hooked out of the way behind a pipe and totally inaccessible in the event of a fall. (We left a red cord card) The toilet is badly in need of a lick of paint and new wallpaper. There were other toilets but they were down a short flight of 3 steps so we didn't see them.
Staff
The staff were welcoming and had sorted out a good table for the people in our party who had mobility issues.
