About

Guardian, standing 20 mfrs high, is the largest miners' memorial in the world. Sited in parkland with a Heritage Centre & cafe it provides the ideal location for children as well as the history buff. River walks, cycle path and benches provide plenty of space for families to enjoy the day. We have full disabled access throughout, wifi in the cafe area, and a hearing loop in the conference centre along with a state-of-the-art Smart Board for presentations.

Disabled Access at Guardian & Ty Ebbw Fach Heritage Centre

Full disabled access throughout the Heritage Centre. Automatic outside entrance door, a lift to the first floor with low-down buttons, toilet facilities, paved garden area. Guardian statue stands at the end of 300 mtr. smooth pathway from car park with benches alongside. Swing gate to car park can be opened fully for wheelchairs.
