Guildhall Shopping and Dining is a thriving mix of Retail, Leisure and Restaurant units located in the heart of Exeter. The multi use of the Centre means we are on the go from early til late, every day. Need a coffee and a refuel? Stop in one our many cafes and restaurants, serving food and drinks throughout the day, for a variety of taste buds and budgets. Need a break from the hustle and bustle? Relax for a while in Market Square and watch the world go by, or chill on the granite steps overlooking the Church. From clothing to stationery to gifts to travel to, well just about anything you can think of, we might well have it here in the centre of the City.

Disabled Access at Guildhall Shopping and Dining

The Main entrance from the High Street is level access with a slight gradient on smooth granite paving towards the Main Mall. There is a change in surface over the matting to a terrazzo style floor which continues throughout the covered area of the Centre. The entrance from Queen Street has a purpose built ramp of smooth granite to the Dining end of the Centre, meeting up with the terrazzo in the Main Mall. All the areas in the Centre public realm have been considered in terms of gradients and access. Multiple Lifts are located at both ends of the Centre, with a 1st floor walkway and ramp linking the two areas.

Accessible parking at Guildhall Shopping and Dining

Parking is provided in the adjacent Exeter City Council run car park, called Guildhall Car Park in Paul Street, Exeter. Parking is available from 0700am to 0000am. It has over 400 spaces, with many dedicated disabled parking bays close to the entrances on all 4 decks. It is a "pay on foot" style car park, with a token issued at the point of entry, payable via a machine before collecting your vehicle and exiting. There are help points located within each of the pay machine booths, via a push to talk system.

Toilets features at Guildhall Shopping and Dining

There are two sets of facilities, one at the first floor in Higher Market (available from 0700am to 0000am), and one at street level available via the push button system linked to the Centre. This is available while the Centre is staffed. We do not use the RADAR key system.

Accessible toilet

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
