Overall Rating
Good
Gyle Centre tram stop is ideal for those heading to the Gyle Shopping Centre, which is just a short walk away. It’s also a useful option for travelling into Edinburgh city centre or out towards the airport.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
The platform has step-free access, tactile paving along the platform edge, overhead signage and help points. You’ll also find seating and shelters on the platforms. Look out for the wheelchair symbol on the platform to see where to wait for the accessible carriage. Help points with braille and a hearing loop can be found on the platforms.
Parking & Transport
Good
I travelled to this place by tram
The tram stop is right beside the Gyle Shopping Centre, making it easy to combine a shopping trip with a tram journey. There’s a large car park at the shopping centre, with dedicated disabled parking bays. There are also bus services nearby, giving you more options for getting around the area. The tram is a handy alternative if you’d rather leave the car behind and head into the city centre.
Accessible Toilets
There are accessible toilets nearby. There are two near the food court area of the Gyle Centre. There are also accessible toilets in Morrisons, Marks & Spencer and Starbucks.
