I am a disabled person and a carer or friend of a disabled person and a general supporter of disabled access. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment, accessing toilets, dexterity or coordination and moving around.

The only assistance someone with accessibility needs could want in this store is knowledge about the products! Wide, automatic doors for the entrance/exit to the store, very easily navigated layout of the place and more than enough room to manoeuvre any type of wheel/power chair around.

The whole store is very simple to navigate with any form of mobility aid and should you need assistance of any kind, there are plenty of staff available who will assist you with your queries/needs.

There is a dedicated car park for the Retail Park that Halfords is located within and there are plenty of disabled spaces available, alongside general parking spots and EV charging bays. Nearby are links to public bus services.

I did not notice any customer toilets available.
Staff
Excellent
I needed more information regarding car bulbs and I was instantly assisted by a mechanic in store who gave me plenty of information. Both members of staff that I interacted with were very pleasant to talk to and treated me as any other customer - disabled or not.
