Hamsa is on Szeroka, one of the main streets in Kazimierz, the Old Jewish Quarter, which has a number of restaurants. Like all the restaurants on this street, there is outdoor and indoor seating.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There are 2 entrances to this restaurant. The one on Szeroka has a couple of steps, without handrail, down into the restaurant and then it is step free. On the other entrance, there are a few steps up and an outdoor seating area. the entrance in Szeroka is the one I used and appeared to have less steps into the indoor restaurant.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
The road parallel to the restaurant is a main road which has trams running along. I didn't use the tram while I was there so unable to comment, apart from I noticed that the new trams had wheelchair signs by one of the doors.
Accessible Toilets
0I didn't use the toilets so unable to comment. My apartment was in the same street as the restaurant so I used the facilities there.
Staff
Excellent
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Offered to help me with the buffet if I needed it. Service was excellent.
Additional Information
I visited Hamsa for their weekend brunch, all you can eat buffet. They specialise in Middle Eastern food and their slogan is "Make Hummas Not War". The buffet was mega impressive, there was a wide choice of hummas and other dips/dishes, salads, different home made breads, a couple of hot dishes, fruit and dessert. When I visited this was for their all you can eat breakfast buffet, served Saturdays and Sundays from 9am - 12 noon and cost 20 - 25 Polish Zloty, about £5 (2019) and I was full for the rest of the day. It's very popular so pre-booking advised or arrive early. The restaurant had air conditioning which was very welcome when I visited as the temperature was in the low 30s.
