Disabled Access at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery

When entering the museum there is a slight curb before reaching a push pad door. In the disabled parking bay, however, there is level access to the entrance of the museum. Within the museum, there is level access throughout and two wheelchair platform lifts.

Accessible parking at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery

Within the museum car park, there is a disabled parking bay, that provides level access to the museum entrance. The car park itself is directly in front of the museum and only a short distance from the main entrance. You do not need to book the disabled parking bay, but if you would like to before your visit please call the museum at 01424 451052 and we will reserve the space if it is not currently occupied.

Toilets features at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery

The accessible disabled toilet is located within the Ground floor walkway, this area is step-free. The toilet door is 90cm wide and opens outwards. There is a space of approximately 130cm in front of the toilet and 105cm to the left of the toilet. The toilet seat is 48.5cm high.
