Disabled Access at Hat Works - The Museum of Hatting

Entry to the museum is via a ramped pavement access and then through an automatic door. There is a standard lift to all floors used by all visitors. The lift buttons are at a level easily accessible by a wheelchair user, the floor numbers are raised and each floor is announced on arrival. There are wide aisles between exhibits for ease of movement. Guide dogs and assistance dogs welcome.

There are accessible toilets on levels 1 & 2 of the museum, with grab rails, lever taps, low level sinks also a floor length emergency pull.
