We parked in a disabled space right next to to the café. You need to drive past the first public car park you come to and drive over the bridge if you want to be close to the café or if you'd prefer to have a nice walk on tarmac you can use the first car park. The tow path in front of the café is alittle rough but firm and fine for wheelchair or scooter. There are plenty of outside picnic tables and benches. On speaking to the owners Paula and Kevin we were told the rough stone in this area will soon be compacted and better for wheelchair access. The disabled and other toilets are outside they were clean and spacious and accessed by asking for a key. Inside there was plenty room for me to sit at the table in my wheelchair the staff and owners were very friendly, helpful and efficient. We had the lite breakfast choice which we gave 10/10 and the coffee was perfect. The walk along the tow is tarmac or compacted stone and you are able to watch the boats coming in and out of the locks.

A disabled bay is available next to cafe or there are more spaces in the first public car park you come to. The walk to the café is accessible for wheelchair or scooter.

Room in the disabled toilet meant I could turn around easily to lock door and to drive out forwards in my manual wheelchair and use the sink and hand drier.

Additional Information
Fab venue for a meal, snack, afternoon tea or just a coffee whilst having the added interest of the flight of locks... excellent Ps the Bennett's ice creams are outstanding too.
