Overview

Having arrived from Edinburgh this was a hassle free connecting service between flights. The Airport staff could not have been more helpful, they noticed my lanyard immediately and offered assistance, direction through security. This was a busy time of the early morning so the staff assistance was greatly appreciated. At the security point I was offered an airport symbol cane whilst my own went through scanner, after this process, I was offered guidance to my next departure gate through the various hallways. Staff at the boarding gate were also first class in offering assistance as was the Lufthansa staff on entering and leaving the aircraft.

Access

For a busy, modern day airport terminal what you would and should expect, all areas fully accessible, ample seating with refreshment and food outlets. The Fullers London Pride outlet offered BSL and large Print assistance.

Toilets

Did not use, but one of our group said that they were fully accessible, provisioned and well serviced. There were disabled loos that had RADAR key entrance. Excellent and well directed signage.

Staff

Just fantastic at an exceedingly busy period, very attentive, supportive and clearly well trained and experienced in recognising and supporting various needs. All round positive customer experiences that I relayed to the duty manager.
