Excellent
Absolutely stunning building and one that has been on my bucket list for a while. A wet day meant we couldn’t enjoy the grounds as well - but bonus points for the vegan options in the cafe.
Disabled Access In and Around
Poor
As expected the castle itself is not very accessible. My husband only managed the ground floor and could not manage the spiral staircase up to the next floor. The route downstairs was a little crowded but there were plenty of chairs on the route when needed.
Parking & Transport
Average
Limited accessible parking available - we were advised to park on the grass if the blue badge parking was full (it was) which was out of the question due to the grass being wet and on a slope. We eventually managed to find a space but it took time.
