High School Tram Stop

This stop is closest to the Arboretum in Nottingham. It’s a very quiet stop, compared to some of the city centre ones. There are two platforms separated by the tram tracks and the road in the middle. The tram platforms are higher than the pavement to ensure they are level with the trams. This means there are ramped sections at either end of the platform where they raise and then lower again to between the height of the platform and the pavement. Each platform has some small shelters with perching benches, a ticket machine, a help point, tactile markings at the edge of the platform and a wheelchair symbol to indicate the best place to wait to be close to the doors by the wheelchair space. The area around this stop is quite hilly.
