Nestled in fourteen acres of mature woodland, set on a small hill in historic Banffshire, our four newly built lodges provide a luxury standard of self-catering accommodation in an exceptionally beautiful and peaceful location. An ideal place to see the Aurora Borealis, better known as the Northern Lights , as you can see for miles around. The surrounding countryside is of gently rolling hills, dotted with market towns, woodland, small lochs and rivers which flow to a coastline punctuated with sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and rocky coves. There are also many interesting fishing villages and towns, including Portsoy and Pennan, to explore. Local attractions include, Duff House Royal Golf Club.The River Deveron.The World Famous Whisky Trail also Castles and monuments are not to be missed. Decription The lodge can accommodate up to six guests and is equipped to the highest standards. It is extremely cosy, with under-floor heating provided by air source heat pumps. We have the Visit Scotland disabled award . A certificate of Recognition for Hidden Gem of Scotland 2017 awarded from Aspire magazine. The accommodation is on two stories: Ground floor (with wheelchair access): One double bedroom (king size bed), suitable for elderly relatives or those with limited mobility. The entire ground floor of each lodge is wheelchair accessible with a large wetroom and open-plan living/dining/kitchen area. Upstairs: Double bedroom with balcony (king sized bed), twin room and bathroom.
