Overview

When I arrived only one lift was working, repairs were not ready after I left. Staff are well trained on disability awareness. At the check in I got a disabled room allocated which had a ceiling hoist and had to fill in a check list what support I needed in case of an evacuation.

Transport & Parking

This hotel is close to the accessible underground station Stratford and accessible railway station Stratford International. There is paid parking of the shopping mall for hotel use, which I have not used. I found it as well easy to get from and to the underground as from and to the railway station.

Access

At my stay at the hotel, only one lift was in use. Luckily this was not to big of an issue, it was a fast lift and people who could use the stairs were taking the stairs. At my check in I got immediately a disabled room allocated, which had a ceiling hoist in the bedroom and bathroom. I got a whole questionnaire to fill in about what to do in emergencies and what support I need in case of a fire. I understood that they had different formats available on request as well.
