Overview

Uninteresting looking hotel but turned out to be excellent in terms of access with amazingly good staff.

Transport & Parking

Spacious blue badge bays just outside one of the hotel entrances, and handily close to our bedroom.

Access

Easy access into the hotel from the accessible entrance. Spacious public areas including a large lobby cafe. Excellent accessible bedroom, not huge but enough room; we had two interconnecting accessible rooms (114 and 115), one with a great wetroom and the other with a shower over a bath, both with lots of well-positioned handles on the walls. Plenty of room to transfer onto the toilet and shower stool, also onto the bed from the side with an easy chair.

Toilets

Excellent wetroom in one of our rooms with plenty of space, ditto in the one with a shower over the bath. Could transfer easily in both.

Staff

Surprisingly good staff for a chain hotel. In the breakfast room I actually asked to speak to a manager to compliment her on the attentive staff.
