Overview
Great hotel for kids and families. Good access and space available in rooms and a wide range of activities available for all. Some would be unfortunately be inaccessible or wheelchairs. Food and location were excellent and the hotel staff were very helpful. Evening entertainment was onsight and very enjoyable.
Transport & Parking
Transfer was via coach from the airport so this may be a problem. However several chair users arrived via wheelchair taxi from the airport which was only a 30min journey (approx. 20 euro)
Access
The complex was pretty large and did have a lot of steps, however these were all accompanied with ramps and most had a rail for additional support. Communal doorways were all side enough for wheelchairs, however the bedrooms may be restricted for powerchairs so this could need checking first. Visual aids and signposts were quite sparse though - I didn't notice any.
Toilets
There were several toilets available throughout the site, all were clean and well maintained.
Staff
Staff were helpful and seemed quite approachable. It may be worth getting a tour of the site with a staff member when arriving as it's quite easy to take the long way around instead of the short cuts when going to the bedrooms and restaurants (like I did)!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Food was great, they had a buffet hall and specialised 3 restaurants with fresh tuna, salmon, fillet steak and wood fired pizza available daily. Entertainment in the day includes climbing wall, waterslides (no wheelchair access), astroturf pitches, swimming pools (hoist available). Night time entertainment was good and onsite. The complex was only 10/15 min walk (pavements were kerbed but had mini ramps for wheelchairs) from the lively resorts but far enough away to be relaxed on the nights.
