Excellent
Hotel Beau Rivage is an accessible hotel in Nice's Old Town, facing onto the sea front. I did a previous Euan's Guide review for the hotel when I visited in 2019, so please also look at that review as it is very detailed, as this is an update to say it was just as lovely as before.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
The hotel has step free access and accessible rooms with wheels in shower with shower seat and an accessible toilet with a grab rail on one side. I had a room on the second floor this time and the layout was the same as the one had I had previously on the first floor. The room is gorgeous.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
There is a step free tram from the airport terminal which quickly takes you into the centre of Nice. From the airport you will take the tram to Jean Médecin. From there it is a 8-10 minute walk or you can swap tram lines and take the tram one stop to Masséna, which is the nearest tram stop to the hotel., and then a 3 - 5 minute walk. A tram ticket now costs 1.70 euros (December 2024), but is valid for 75 minutes travel in the same direction. You now have to purchase a rechargeable card, La Carte, which costs 2 euros deposit. You can't buy this at any tram stop apart from the Airport one. You have to validate your card at the start of each journey. Accessible Toilets

There is a public accessible toilet on the ground floor. It has a single grab rail next to the toilet.
Staff
Excellent
Staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout. Big shout out to the cleaner as my room was spotless. On Christmas Day she left a card and a chocolate from the hotel on my bed, which was a lovely surprise.
Additional Information
This is my second visit here and I will very happily come back. I love the location, accessibility, lovely décor. A buffet breakfast with a delicious selection of hot and cold food was included in the price. It is a real treat to stay here. and I hope to return soon.
