Guidance for visitors with autism

Although mostly dating from the mid-19th Century, the Houses of Parliament are very accessible. One part of the tour route, St Stephen's Hall, has steps either end but there is an alternative route via a lift and St Stephen's Hall can be viewed from Central Lobby. To help plan a visit please watch the video ‘How to access the Houses of Parliament’ which includes a welcome from Tanni, Baroness Grey-Thompson and five other chapters. The video can be viewed all the way through (15 minutes) or or by individual chapter, and with the option of subtitles or signed in British Sign Language. We also have a guide for visitors on the ASD.
