Ice Cube Skating Rink

Today we went ice skating and snowing tubing in Leeds City Centre. The staff and there awareness of disabilities was fantastic from booking the ticket and getting a carer in free without asking, to arriving and finding everywhere was accessible to getting on the ice. The staff were more than happy to let Dion where a pair of ice skates and helped push the wheelchair round spinning Dion at every opportunity which he loved. When we needed to make a quick dash to the disabled toilets we had an escorts to open the door and then let us back onto the ice. Dion even had a go on one of the snowmen I thought the man would think I was crazy to let him have a good but was more than happy to help me hold him up. Snow tubing was also fab alot of lifting involved but worth it to see his little face. The overall experience was seemless and I would recommend it for the whole family

Cannot recommend the Ice Cube at millennium square Leeds enough We have spent this evening there My son is manual wheelchair user and has had best night! He was allowed access smaller ice rink with little sister to build confidence then took to the big ice rink like a pro! We got free carer also
