Firstly, I love Iceland for shopping but on a Tuesday its discount day for over 65’s and this is so busy with queues so long for checkouts its not good for disabled people like me having to stand too long in one spot! I can’t take my mobility scooter in as the shop floor have offer baskets everywhere blocking access to some shelves & fridges as well as narrowing the gap width! Staff that I have encountered have not been helpful seeing that I have mobility aids but have never offered to pack my bag/bags. The exit point is also very narrow hardly enough room for a trolly to exit!

What makes it difficult for disabled is the amount of offer baskets throughout the flooring space narrowing it down and blocking access to shelves & fridges!

Checkout staff not helpful with packing assistance. Some don’t acknowledge your presence, just robot style like scan, cash or card, next!
