Overview

Ikea in Milton Keynes is huge and has at least 6 baby change facilities (within 3 rooms), but only 2 accessible loos - one at each of the 2 toilet locations (restaurant 2nd floor, entrance 1st floor). I can't comment on the 1st floor loo as my partner (wheel chair user) gave up waiting after 15 minutes of it being occupied. the 2nd floor loo was OK but involved waiting over 10 minutes for it to become available. Staff were oblivious to why I was asking if there was an alternative facility available

Transport & Parking

Disabled parking was well signed with plenty of spaces available

Access

Disabled access if by lift only, these were big and clean, however only 1 up and a different 1 down so lots of delays waiting for the lift to be available - as used for both disabled and parent/buggy users.

Toilets

Not enough - 20+ disabled parking spaces but only 2 accessible loos.

Staff

The staff were OK but seemed oblivious to any special needs requirements - although were polite and there were enough of them
