Jacksons at Jedburgh

Before I visited the farm I emailed to ask about accessibility as I use an electric wheelchair. Jasmine (co-owner) replied in good time and informed me the trailer for the highland cow tour had a ramp. The ramp on the trailer was a bit difficult for my type of chair but there was a butterfly ramp that was added which was better. It was amazing seeing the highland cows up close and Fenwick was very knowable and answered our questions. There was an area with pens of lambs, baby cows and pigs which we were able to pet. The floor was covered in a think layer of hay but my chair managed fine. There was also a picnic area and kids play area next to the chicken coup with amazing views. Overall, well worth the trip!

Got a pass to come via my sons asn group. We couldn’t make the date due to the weather and jasmine was amazing let us go later in the wk. My son didn’t really want to get out the car but eventually did. What a wonderful tranquil place to be. Beautiful animals. Wonderful owners and staff and whilst we weren’t there long we were made to feel so welcome it put us at ease which is great when u have a child with autism and learning disabilities- my son was able to be himself. Bought some duck eggs mmmmm delicious defo recommend x x

Bright Sparks families are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit Jackson Farm and be welcomed by Jasmine and her wonderful family, last Autumn and again in May. The families feedback how wonderfully inclusive their visits have been and loved meeting and feeding the animals. Since Bright Sparks was welcomed as one of the supporting charities families are looking forward to their visits again during the summer and coming months. Huge thanks to Jasmine & Fenwick and their wonderful family. This is a must visit experience 🎉
