I am a disabled person and a carer or friend of a disabled person and a general supporter of disabled access. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment, accessing toilets, dexterity or coordination and moving around.

Whilst I could get through the store to where I wanted to be - after going around clothing fixtures like navigating a maze - it was a bit of struggle as I had to traverse 3/4 of the store in a circulatory manner as my wheelchair couldn't access some areas without going all the way around to where I wanted to be.

There are automatic entrance/exit doors and seating located at the end of the store (this is mainly for trying on footwear, but a seat's a seat!). The store is a single-level venue and fairly simple to navigate on foot. Anyone in a wheelchair or powerchair will find some difficulty trying to maneouver around as there are a lot of clothing fixtures that can impede you attempting to pass, which results in having to go around a good portion of the store just to get to where you wanted to be.

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
JD Sports is located in Trostre retail park which has it's own dedicated carpark. This carpark has plenty of disabled parking spaces alongside, parent & child, general and EV charging parking spots. Nearby there are links to public bus services and a taxi rank located just outside of Tesco Extra which is a short distance away on foot. (If you cannot walk very far, the taxi rank might not be suitable for you as it is either across the road and through the carpark or a walk around the entire retail park to access this).

I did not notice any public bathroom facilities available at this store.

I only interacted with the staff member working the till area and this person didn't make it very easy for me to purchase my shopping. I had to stretch out of my seat precariously to pass my items to be scanned and then again to pay and once again when retrieving them from said person upon having paid.
