Jesmond Dene House

My daughter and I have been here for afternoon tea many times and have always enjoyed it. There is plenty of parking bays including disabled and charging ones. The car park is tarmacked making it easier to use. All the doorways are wider than normal. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of room between tables. There is a conservatory attached and although it’s accessible, if all the tables are used, is a little more awkward and other diners may have to move to let you pass. The disabled toilet is kept very clean and has the usual handrails etc. The staff are pleasant and are happy to let you pick a table which is suitable for your needs.

Access is good, but the disabled room is in an annex so need to go outside and negotiate a slight slope to access the hotel itself.
