Overview

We stayed at the Kingsmills hotel for 2 nights for a special birthday. The room was well adapted for a wheelchair user, with a wet room and wide doorways. All areas were on the same level, including the lounge and private rooms booked for dinner. Food was good and staff were all friendly and helpful.

Transport & Parking

Arrived by car. Several disabled parking spaces right in front of main reception. Others at the back of the main building.

Access

All common areas accessible from bedroom on ground level. Automatic entry doors to reception.

Toilets

Accessible toilet easy to find, very clean/tidy, grab rails available and had sufficient space for carer. No Changing Places toilet

Staff

All staff helpful and friendly. They showed us different types of accessible rooms for future visits. They made a fuss of older lady in party who was celebrating her birthday, which was much appreciated.
