Access to the venue is pretty good, all relatively level ground. They allow disabled patrons to go through the private VIP bar which makes it quite easy, although there is a ramp from the bar to the main floor. The disabled area however is pathetic, almost like an after thought. It’s located on the far side of the floor to the side of the stage which limits visibility, plus the area in front of the is not cordoned off you people stand in front restricting your view entirely. The disabled area is a raised platform with a ramp. There is a small area at the front for wheelchairs but hardly any room to move past the wheelchairs. There is also no barrier on the edge of the platform so when I was there a gentleman in a wheelchair chair tried to get past another wheelchair and rolled off the edge of the platform. The other concern is that where the disabled is located is the furthest point from the emergency exit meaning you’d be fighting with hundreds of able bodied people to get out of there in an emergency. Staff are friendly and apologetic, I sense they get a lot of complaints about it. I contacted the venue to share my concerns and they never bothered replying.
