Good
Klezmer Hois is a restaurant which was an old former mikveh - a ritual Jewish bath house. At 8pm every evening there is a Jewish music concert performed in one of the restaurants rooms. Admission to the concert room has an additional surcharge on top of the price of the food (an extra 30zł in 2019), however for something special, this was relatively inexpensive and provided an enjoyable, special and relaxing night out.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There was a step or two without a handrail into the restaurant. Once in the restaurant has level access. However, I'm not sure if there is also an upstairs. There are a number of small rooms. I ate in the back room where the concert was performed. There is free standing table and chairs.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
The road parallel to the restaurant is a main road which has trams running along. I didn't use the tram while I was there so unable to comment, apart from I noticed that the new trams had wheelchair signs by one of the doors.
Accessible Toilets
0I didn't use the toilets so unable to comment. My apartment was in the same street as the restaurant so I used the facilities there.
Staff
Excellent
Although the restaurant was very busy, service was friendly and very efficient. All the staff spoke English. There was waiter service and this was very good.
Additional Information
The restaurant itself is like stepping back in time. It felt more like going into someone's home as a guest rather than being in a restaurant. However, for a treat I would recommend attending the concert. Highly recommend.
