Keith FC vs. Inverness CT
It was my first time being at Kynoch Park since I started using my mobility scooter and it was a fantastic day apart from me getting sunburned. I was going to walk into the match as I wasn't sure how I would manage my scooter in the ground, but I decided to take my mobility scooter and write a review and I wasn't disappointed.
We parked opposite the ground so we only had a 2 minute walk to the gates Then I asked the guy at the turnstiles how I could get in and I was expecting the usual running about asking people where I go but he beamed a smile at me and told me to wait a second so he could open the gate to let me through. I then paid my ticket and then I was immediately greeted by the Keith FC chairman (I think) who welcomed me to Kynoch Park. After a quick chat he took me round by the entrance and onto the pitch so I was sitting with my Granda. Great game (5-0 to ICT), great weather and a great club.
My nose started to bleed AGAIN so the Keith FC chairman panicked and shouted on the physio haha "Haud in there san" the phisyo treated me like I had broke my leg :)
I feel like I should try and go back and give Keith some support, just as a way to say 'Thank you'
I think that highland league clubs maybe don't have the finances to build a whole new state of the art wheelchair accessible shelter but they do the best with what they've got, and Keith is a credit to the highland league!
